교수

지진학 연구실에서는 관측된 지진파형의 분석을 통하여 지진의 발생 메커니즘과 지구 내부의 지진파 속도 구조를 밝히기 위한 다양한 연구들을 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 자체 보유하고 있는 이동식 지진계와 고성능 Linux cluster를 활용한 미소지진 관측/분석, 상세 속도구조 모델 개발 및 지진재해 경감을 위한 강진동 모사등 과학 발전과 더불어 사회 발전에도 기여할 수 있는 연구들에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다.
