Research Topic

● Ground-based, aircraft-based and space-borne in-situ/remote sensing observations of optical, physical and chemical properties of urban pollutants, Asian dust, and biomass burning aerosols
● Climate arming effects due to air pollutants, particularly black and brown carbon aerosols
● Observation and modeling studies of Arctic aerosol and cloud
● Develop and evaluate retrieval algorithms of gas pollutants and aerosols from ground-based and space-borne remote sensing measurements (e.g., CALIPSO)
