# Atmospheric SciencesResearch Topic
Prof. Seok-Woo Son studies why and how phenomena related to large-scale circulation and long-term variability including climate change as well as synoptic-scale weather phenomena occur and change. He also explores the limitations of predictability in climate and operational models and the ways to overcome limits.
