Usage
Teledyne Oceanscience Underway CTD system observes the vertical water profiles of temperature, conductivity, and pressure from moving vessels. The Probe includes a custom-designed Sea-Bird CTD sensor, and samples data at a sampling rate of 16Hz descending vertically up to 2000m at a speed of ~4m/s. Underway CTD has an advantage for tempo-spatial high-resolution, and has been operated to observe front structure and internal wave.
