Mobile and IoT Sensing: Cases, Challenges, and Opportunities

The prevalence of mobile and IoT devices enables various sensing applications in our daily lives, including smart transportation, automated homes, and environmental monitoring. They have evolved to capture and use a rich set of human behavior, internal states, and surrounding contexts to provide highly usable services. In this talk, I will introduce various use cases and challenges of mobile and IoT sensing, and discuss challenges and opportunities.
